NATURE CONNECTION FOR EVERYONE
Big Heart Adventures is proud to introduce events for people of all abilities. Join us in mindful nature connection with a gentle wander and forest bathing session amongst the trees.
We respectfully acknowledge that our adventure is on Kaurna Land, traditionally owned by the Kaurna People.
Experience a deeper connection with nature and be guided on a sensory journey with the land we walk upon. You are invited to feel the health benefits of being in nature while deepening our relationships with the earth and ourselves.
We include light refreshments and tea after our session (please let us know any dietary needs you may have).
Our leaders carry group first aid kits and emergency communication devices. We are qualified bushwalking leaders, Nature Therapy Guides and practitioners in outdoor health.
WHO IS THIS EVENT SUITABLE FOR?
This event is ideal for everyone! Those recovering from injuries, accidents, or illness are welcome. If you use mobility aids or are just not confident with being on trails without a leader or the company of others, we are happy to assist.
Minimum age requirement is 15 years old and must come with a supervising adult - please check with Lisa if you are unsure.
NEED TRANSPORT?
We also include optional private vehicle transport from Stamford Plaza Hotel 150 North Terrace departing 45 mins before start time, and have seating for up to 10 people. Our bus is wheelchair friendly (up to 2 spots available for wheelchairs) and is bookable on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please see ticket options to book transportation if required. More information on our bus can be found in this video.
We return to the city for drop-offs 30 mins post event.
You can also meet us at the entrance of Belair National Park if you have your own transport 15 mins prior to event start time and follow us to our start point inside the Park.
